About

This fitness program is intended for adults, although I would say 15 year olds, who have structured workout experience, could use this as an elective PE course. It is meant to be a very well rounded program for improved health and physical capabilities. It will build athleticism in those who never did much with athletics and help maintain athletic abilities for those who have done a lot of sport. It is excellent for healthy body composition. It is is not meant as a body building program. It will build muscle strength and definition while burning calories averaging something like a 12 MET (metabolic equivalent of task) for about an hour and then building a faster metabolism in your body over time. It will increase your muscular endurance and increase your VO2max. Each day starts with a dynamic warm-up, then works for a short bit on speed work, then moves to a free weight lift and calisthenic for strength superset. Then a few sets of an Olympic lift for power, balance and coordination. The workout ends with a short to moderate circuit for cardio and strength-endurance. Finally, a great cooldown of expert foam rolling and compound stretches.
